Geocell product introduction

Geocells are three-dimensional honeycomb structures that can be filled with soil, gravel or other materials to stabilize steep slopes and prevent erosion. They are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and have an open cellular structure that allows them to adapt to the terrain.

Components:

A geocell is a wide band of high strength HDPE or PP copolymer that is strongly welded or riveted together to form a one piece mesh cell structure. It is stretchable and can be folded up during transportation, and then opened and filled with soil, stone or concrete materials when in use, constituting a structural body with strong lateral restriction and large stiffness. It can be used as a bedding layer to deal with weak foundations to increase the bearing capacity of the foundation, can also be laid on the slope to form a slope protection structure, but also can be used to build the supporting structure and so on.

Geocell characteristics:

1, with expansion and contraction, transportation can be shrinking stack, construction can be tensioned into a net, filled with soil, gravel, concrete and other loose materials, constituting a strong lateral restriction and large stiffness of the structure body.

2、Light material, wear-resistant, chemically stable, resistant to light and oxygen aging, acid and alkali resistant, suitable for different soils and deserts and other soil conditions.

3、Higher lateral restriction and anti-skid, anti-deformation, effectively enhancing the bearing capacity of the roadbed and dispersing the role of load.

4, change the geocell height, welding distance and other geometric dimensions can meet different engineering needs.

5、Expansion and contraction freely, small transportation volume; convenient coupling, fast construction speed.

Main uses:

1、Used for stabilizing highway and railroad roadbed.

2、It is used for the embankment and shallow water channel management which is subject to load force.

3、Used for preventing landslide and mixed retaining wall subject to load force.

4, in the encounter of soft foundation, the use of geocells can greatly reduce the construction labor intensity, reduce the thickness of the roadbed construction speed, good performance, greatly reducing the cost of the project.
